Sustainable Skies connects the wonder of birds with innovations in the aviation industry. Through interactive games and engaging graphics, guests match birds to aircraft using the science of biomimicry while learning how modern aviation is working to reduce emissions.
By highlighting Breeze Airways’ eco-friendly and conservation-focused efforts, both children and parents leave feeling inspired to fly cleaner and think greener.

Process
Ideation and Execution
I began the project with research. After being assigned Breeze Airways as my “client,” I was tasked with creating a brand experience that aligned with their mission and values. While researching the company, I discovered a strong opportunity to place the experience within ZooTampa at Lowry Park, where themes of conservation, education, and wildlife naturally intersect with aviation and sustainability. With this in mind, I visited ZooTampa to better understand their branding, spatial layout, and the ways they engage and educate guests
.
After the visit, I began the ideation phase and quickly found a clear conceptual connection between birds and aviation. From there, I started developing the design in Illustrator, creating a front elevation while experimenting with graphics and visual styles informed by my research.
Once the 2D design was finalized, I converted the Illustrator file into a DWG and imported it into SketchUp, where I extruded the forms and began building the experience in 3D. This workflow, from Illustrator into 3D modeling software, is one I particularly enjoy, as it allows me to move fluidly from graphic exploration into spatial design.
